Duto do Quebo is a limestone cave formed by the Quebo River . This river flows under a mountain, a passage of up to 280 meters. This natural attraction is located 25 kilometers outside Bom Jardim.

What does the day look like?

The journey itself is a real adventure. Steep dirt roads and sharp turns set the mood perfectly.

The river is located right next to the reception. Here you will receive the necessary equipment and instructions for the descent. The adrenaline will really kick in during the 1300-meter descent in the tube. In the middle of the descent, we go under the mountain. A mysterious place with bats, stalactites, and gentle rapids. Don't worry, the heroic guide will lead you through unscathed.

After the cave, the river widens and we float gently onward under the canopy of the riparian forest. Upon arrival at the endpoint, the guide will help you disembark and a tractor train will take you back to the reception.

Worth a pit stop:

On the way back to the village, it is highly recommended to stop at the stone bridge Ponte da Pedra for a final refreshing dip and then visit Mesa da Pedra (the stone table) a bohemian art garden with the essential ingredient for recovering from an active day: a cold beer.
